Investigación Iconográfica E Histórica De Los Pueblos Originarios Del Valle De Catamayo Para La Aplicación En El Diseño Y El Arte

Abstract

La investigación delimita los puntos de los asentamientos de los pueblos ancestrales que existieron en el valle de Catamayo desde el pre-hispánico hasta la actualidad, dando mayor importancia a los existentes en la etapa precolombina, ya que en aproximadamente 20 km2 se desarrolló cerámica y artesanía en 30 sitios desde el Formativo hasta el período de Integración, definiendo así, los puntos de interés arqueológico y cultural del valle. Esto nos permite realizar dos acciones: Una de ellas es rescatar la iconografía, partiendo de ésta, se crea nuevas imágenes y diseños que pueden ser aplicados en objetos y en la arquitectura. La otra es que, con la información de asentamientos se recurre a organizar el territorio, para así planificar urbanísticamente la ciudad, realizando intervenciones urbanas, que tienen como fin revalorizar el patrimonio cultural existente, asimismo mejorar el entorno, dotando de equipamiento y espacio público.
