Abstract

"Arte y Sociedad. Revista de Investigación" entrevista en esta ocasión al artista Ayoze Jiménez Villalba, quien se ha erigido con el paso del tiempo en uno de los principales exponentes en alza de la expresión figurativa del arte hecho en el archipiélago de Canarias (España). Nacido en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria en 1978, en el año 1998 terminó sus estudios en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios Artísticos de Las Palmas, y en 2004 egresó como Licenciado en Bellas Artes. Desde entonces Ayoze Jiménez no ha hecho sino trabajar incansablemente para ganar enteros en el mundo del arte, cosechando deferentes distinciones, entre las que destaca el Premio Regional de Artes Plásticas 'Manolo Millares', uno de los más prestigiosos de Canarias.
