Alicia, entre la realidad y la ficción. Fotografías de Lewis Carroll y Victoria Sorochinski

Abstract

Alicia, la protagonista y aventurera en el País de las maravillas, se ha convertido en una de las niñas más famosas de todos los tiempos. Su relación con el escritor Lewis Carroll ha sido objeto de especulaciones de todo tipo. Se trata de un personaje complejo, al mismo tiempo real y ficticio. Este artículo analiza, precisamente, este doble carácter del personaje. Por un lado, a partir de la relación entre la Alicia de ficción y la Alicia real que junto a otras niñas-amigas nos ofrecen las fotografías de Lewis Carroll. Y por otro, a partir del trabajo titulado Anna & Eva (2005-2012) y realizado por la fotógrafa ucraniana Victoria Sorochinski. En este proyecto, la fotógrafa expone, en concreto, el modo en que Eva [Alicia], viviendo en un mundo de fantasía creado por y para ella, deja de ser niña para convertirse en adulta.
