El cine y los muchachos de la nueva sensibilidad. El caso de Martín Fierro (1924-1927)

Abstract

Desde sus comienzos, el cine suscitó intensos debates. Las vanguardias artísticas, en particular, asumieron posiciones radicales, rechazándolo, abrazándolo, o incorporando en otras disciplinas recursos inspirados por el cinematógrafo. Las revistas literarias de las primeras décadas del siglo XX fueron sede de algunas de estas discusiones. Este artículo se propone relevar la presencia de estos debates en la revista argentina Martín Fierro (1924-1927), publicación que tuvo un carácter fundacional para la vanguardia literaria porteña. Se intenta, de ese modo, discutir algunas hipótesis acerca de los vínculos entre el cine y la literatura argentina de los años 1920.
