Más allá del contemporáneo: Mondo Bizzarro Gallery y la teoría de un Arte Hipercontemporáneo

Abstract

El siguiente texto pretende plantear la paradoja existente en la ciudad de Roma respecto a su condición de ciudad-capital italiana y la ausencia de exposiciones de arte contemporáneo a nivel museal. Partiendo del acercamiento a una posible definición de “lo contemporáneo” se pretende dilucidar su estrecha relación con el campo del arte. Un nuevo espacio expositivo en la escena romana, Mondo Bizzarro Gallery, parece plantear una nueva posibilidad de subsanación de esta ausencia. Bajo el concepto de hipercontemporaneidad esta galería abre el discurso hacia una nueva teoría de un espacio expositivo exageradamente actual y consecuentemente contemporáneo.
