Abstract

En el Arte actual conviven planteamientos y estilos diversos, en disputa por hacerse un hueco en el mercado y convertirse en tendencia referencial. Ante esta situación siempre cambiante ¿cómo puede plantearse la enseñanza artística en la universidad? Basándonos en Pierre Bourdieu, reflexionamos sobre los mecanismos que rigen el campo del arte, donde las diversas creencias y tendencias estéticas pugnan por ocupar un espacio social. En este marco, la teoría artística aparece ligada a posturas concretas, de manera que el sentido crítico se impone al analítico. Asumir las funciones mercantiles de la ideología estética, desacralizándola, puede ser un primer paso para asumir la docencia del arte.
