Prospects for development of the Chornobyl territories based on project approach

Abstract

Problematic aspects and objectives of socio-economic development of the areas affected by the Chernobyl disaster are highlighted in the article. A number of existing problems related to the lack of appropriate level of scientific researches on the Chernobyl territories are outlined. Hypothesis about the prospects of applying project approach within general strategic planning procedures are proposed. A list of potential tasks and directions of solution the problems development of the territories affected by the Chernobyl disaster are proposed.
