Abstract

En este artículo se analiza la interrelación entre las políticas fiscales, monetarias y cambiarias de México desde fines de los años setenta hasta mediados de 1991. Su principal propósito es evaluar en forma crítica la congruencia de las políticas macroeconómicas del país desde el surgimiento de la crisis de la deuda en 1982 y analizar algunos aspectos clave de política económica, derivados de los intentos subsecuentes por lograr la estabilización.
