Abstract

Con el presente número, el Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas inicia la publicación de la revista Economía Mexicana, Nueva Época. Ésta, al igual que la antigua revista, tiene como propósito principal dar a conocer al público especializado diversos trabajos de investigación relacionados con la economía del país. En función de esta intención, su orientación principal será publicar trabajos empíricos o reflexiones que versen sobre trabajos de esa naturaleza. No obstante, de acuerdo con lo que en su momento vaya señalando el comité editorial, también se publicarán trabajos de índole teórica que sean particularmente pertinentes para la reflexión económica de México. Los artículos que se publiquen en la actual Economía Mexicana previamente pasarán por un proceso de dictamen en el que se guardará el anonimato –en ambas direcciones– entre dictaminador y autor. Además, todos los artículos serán firmados. Por otra parte, si bien es seguro que la revista contará con artículos elaborados por investigadores del CIDE, lo más posible es que la mayor parte de los trabajos que aquí se publiquen provenga de autores ajenos a la institución.
