Presencia en revistas académicas de los artículos sobre la economía mexicana y productividad de los economistas académicos de México
The article shows data about the scientific production of articles on Mexican economy generated in the period 1992-1997. The participation of the academic economists (those who belong to the principal institutions of higher education in Mexico) in this production is presented. The average productivity of articles that have these economists was calculated and compared with similar indicators of US, and among Mexican institutions. The last paragraph contains conclusions and some indications for future studies.
