Ignacy Sachs e a nave espacial Terra

Abstract

Este artigo é uma breve pesquisa do trabalho de Ignacy Sachs - um dos pioneiros da economia estruturalista do desenvolvimento e um economista destacado dedicado à economia ambiental. Sachs é polonês e discípulo de Michael Kalecki, mas também é brasileiro e francês, devido aos seus fortes laços com esses dois países. Ele conhece a importância dos mercados na coordenação da economia, mas, como economista do desenvolvimento, atribui um papel fundamental ao planejamento econômico. Somente através da ação deliberada do Estado será possível obter crescimento econômico, redução das desigualdades e proteção dos ambientes - somente através da ação deliberada de maneira que homens e mulheres serão capazes de conduzir a nave espacial Terra ao desenvolvimento econômico, social e ambiental e garantir um trabalho decente para todos.
