Inflation passed from a purely monetary phenomenon to an intrinsic part of themodern economic system. This paper aims to perform a general analysis of the new inflationaryprocesses, particularly the “administered inflation” from economic agents with marketpower, the “compensatory inflation” to remunerate capital, and the “corrective inflation”,produced by the state when trying to correct the distortions caused by the economicpolicy. JEL Classification: E31; E52.
