Abstract

A internet, como se sabe, vive de fenômenos. No momento, o que está em evidência é o jogo Second Life. Além de atrair milhares de internautas, esse jogo despertou igualmente a atenção de empresas e governo, notadamente por seu potencial econômico real. O artigo analisa alguns aspectos que estão por trás do Second Life, como o paralelo entre dinheiro e diversão e a rede de serviços que tem se estabelecido em seu entorno.
