Abstract

O Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC), iniciativa do Governo Federal para coordenar investimentos públicos e privados no país, está fadado ao fracasso caso não se reduzam as taxas de juros vigentes no Brasil e se mude a política cambial praticada pelo Banco Central. Esta é a visão de Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira, ex-Ministro da Fazenda e professor da FGV-EAESP, cujas ideias sobre desenvolvimento e crescimento econômicos são apresentadas na entrevista que compõe este artigo.
