Abstract

A indústria de private equity e venture capital desempenha um papel de grande importância no financiamento de empreendedores e inovações no Brasil, podendo ser considerada responsável pelo rápido desenvolvimento de setores como Internet, tecnologia de informação e biotecnologia. O artigo descreve as características e história dessa indústria no país, as etapas envolvidas no processo de investimento e as dificuldades e tendências dessa indústria nos próximos anos.
