Abstract

Apesar de o histórico da indústria de private equity e venture capital ainda ser recente no Brasil e apresentar poucos casos de sucesso, as perspectivas para seu crescimento são animadoras. Em perspectiva ampla, esse crescimento dependerá da capacidade da indústria de atrair capital, de uma acurada formação de gestores de venture capital e de uma cultura empreendedora. O artigo arrola outras razões específicas para otimismo em relação a essa indústria nos próximos anos.
