Abstract

Os estudos sobre liderança não são convergentes sobre o que é liderança e como exercê-la. Ora a ênfase desses estudos é sobre a personalidade do líder, ora sobre o que ele faz, ora sobre as distintas combinações entre líder, liderados e situação. Este texto propõe uma compreensão sobre a liderança segundo a qual o líder deve responder a um ambiente de dilemas e contradições mediante a aquisição de competências sobre si mesmo, sobre seus liderados e sobre o contexto em que atua.
