Abstract

Paulo Skaf assumiu a presidência da Federação das Indústrias do Estado de São Paulo, a Fiesp, em janeiro de 2005. Empresário do setor têxtil, Skaf acumula outros cargos em importantes entidades e conselhos, como no Conselho de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (CDES), ligado à presidência da República. Nesta entrevista à GV-executivo, ele fala sobre os principais desafios da indústria brasileira, denuncia a insistente política de juros altos praticada no Brasil e aponta a importância da indústria brasileira no desenvolvimento do país.
