Abstract

O fenômeno da globalização popularizou a crença de que vivemos em um mundo onde idéias, informação e conhecimento circulam de forma livre e democrática. Na área de conhecimento em gestão, em particular, análises mostram que referenciais produzidos em países desenvolvidos, notadamente nos EUA, tendem a predominar sobre a produção local. O artigo analisa o mercado de idéias na área de gestão e discute a posição do Brasil nesse valioso contexto.
