Abstract

À medida que os negócios internacionais se intensificam, envolvendo empresas de diversas partes do mundo, torna-se cada vez mais freqüente a interação de executivos de nacionalidades distintas. Quando essa interação se efetiva, realiza-se um verdadeiro encontro entre as partes; porém, nem sempre isso ocorre, dando margem a choques culturais potencialmente nocivos ao desempenho do negócio. O artigo analisa as formas de lidar com esses encontros e desencontros culturais.
