Os desafios da hotelaria

Abstract

O aumento do turismo no país trouxe para o primeiro plano questões referentes à gestão de hotéis. Um balanço da situação atual do setor aponta dois desafios a gestores e profissionais da área. Primeiro, maior profissionalização, sobretudo em termos de pesquisas sobre habitabilidade e estruturas de gestão. Segundo, maior consciência dos hoteleiros sobre uma característica essencial do serviço, a hospitalidade, ou seja, a capacidade de fazer o hóspede sentir-se em ambiente acolhedor, ao mesmo tempo em que se preserva o profissionalismo dos serviços.
