Abstract

Em uma época de indiscutível guerra por competitividade e conquista de mercados, exigências de desempenho superior pesam sobre as empresas. Paradoxalmente, porém, quando conseguem um desempenho considerado satisfatório, muitas empresas acomodamse e passam a se movimentar por inércia. A conseqüência é a perda progressiva de liderança e, no limite, a derrocada. O artigo analisa as razões desse fenômeno e destaca soluções que envolvem mudanças nos sistemas de gestão, liderança e de gestão de pessoas.
