Abstract

O Brasil vive um dilema no que diz respeito ao desenvolvimento de uma base tecnológica local. Como país periférico, depende da transferência de tecnologias oriundas dos países centrais. No entanto, importar tecnologias é hoje mais do que meramente adquirir maquinário novo. Implica a aquisição de novos conhecimentos, na adaptação à realidade local e de uma formação humana de base.
