Abstract

Na história da indústria aeronáutica brasileira, a Embraer destaca-se como um ícone respeitado. Modelo bem-sucedido em termos de inovação de produtos e conquista de mercados internacionais, a empresa é alvo de diversos pesquisadores que buscam, na compreensão de seu sucesso, a possibilidade de generalizar suas lições para outras áreas da indústria nacional. O artigo analisa as principais razões para o sucesso do modelo competitivo da Embraer e traz uma reflexão sobre as reais possibilidades de sua imitação.
