Abstract

A estabilidade econômica trazida pelo Plano Real, no final da década de 1990, impôs às empresas seguradoras brasileiras desafios inéditos. O principal deles consiste em incrementar a rentabilidade do negócio por meio de processos de gestão eficientes e de nova mentalidade de gestão de riscos. Este artigo analisa o processo de mudança organizacional implementado pela Marítima Seguros como resposta à crescente competitividade do mercado de seguros no país.
