Abstract

A área de Finanças experimentou, no Brasil, desenvolvimento importante. A partir de simples apêndice da Contabilidade, evoluiu com modelos próprios, os quais se caracterizam pelo rigor analítico e pelo suporte à tomada de decisão. Para falar desse processo, convidamos os professores William Eid Jr. e Piero Tedeschi, ambos da FGV-EAESP. Na entrevista, tratam ainda de como os profissionais financeiros podem contribuir para a geração de valor nas empresas em um momento de grande ênfase nos mercados de capitais.
