Abstract

Objetivo: investigar como a literatura acadêmica em Administração está olhando para a saúde mental dos líderes no âmbito corporativo/executivo/empresarial. Estado da arte: o papel ativo da liderança é essencial para combater ambientes de trabalho estressantes e apoiar a saúde mental dos trabalhadores. Contudo, a saúde mental dos próprios líderes tem sido negligenciada, condição que pode favorecer ambientes tóxicos nas organizações. Escopo: o presente artigo abrange uma revisão sistemática da literatura com 45 artigos selecionados pela sua relevância para o estudo da saúde mental dos líderes. Originalidade: a pesquisa oferece um panorama sobre como a literatura acadêmica em Administração tem investigado a saúde mental dos líderes, revelando as principais causas, consequências e potenciais caminhos para o enfrentamento de questões psicológicas e emocionais no espaço organizacional. Impactos: este estudo incentiva a discussão sobre a importância da saúde mental dos líderes, tanto como suas influências e consequências para os âmbitos pessoal e profissional, apontando caminhos para enfrentar esse ponto cego das organizações.
