Abstract

Muitos executivos ainda acreditam que é possível gerar motivação condicionando os comportamentos por meio de prêmios e punições. Mas a verdadeira motivação nasce das necessidades interiores e não de fatores externos. Não há fórmulas que ofereçam soluções fáceis para motivar quem quer que seja. O líder não pode motivar seus liderados. Sua eficácia depende de sua competência em liberar a motivação que os liderados já trazem dentro de si.
