Abstract

O presente trabalho visa a discutir características da gestão de pessoas no setor público da saúde no Brasil na terceira década do século XXI. Com base na literatura da área foi desenvolvido um roteiro para entrevistas de gestores de organizações da administração direta e da indireta da saúde e aplicado a profissionais de nível central e local que concordaram em participar da pesquisa. Os achados foram discutidos e analisados, embora não tenha sido realizada comparação de sua eficácia em função de resultados obtidos. A conclusão deste trabalho evidencia a relevância do tema gestão de pessoas na saúde e as diferenças de instrumentos disponíveis na gestão direta e nas organizações sociais de saúde.
