Abstract

The article deals with the main modeling approaches in the sphere of terms of trade impact analysis. A partial equilibrium model is used to estimate changes in Ukraine's imports of pork and poultry from EU after the implementation of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Import demand elasticity for pork and poultry markets is estimated. The author assesses the potential decrease in domestic producers' market share caused by the elimination of import duty within the tariff quotas on the poultry and pork markets. Possible changes in the geographical structure of imports and domestic markets of particular livestock products are analyzed.
