La responsabilidad social como elemento de cohesión en la integración de los sistemas de gestión

Abstract

El presente trabajo vincula, a través de un profundo análisis bibliográfico, dos conceptos actuales y relevantes en el ámbito de la organización de empresas: la responsabilidad social y la integración de los sistemas de gestión. Para ello, se analiza la evolución y la situación que presentan, en el contexto actual, los sistemas de gestión relativos a la calidad, al medio ambiente, a la seguridad y salud laboral y, finalmente, a la responsabilidad social. Posteriormente, se estudia el fenómeno de la integración de los sistemas de gestión, exponiendo las posibilidades y las perspectivas que ofrece en las empresas y en las restantes organizaciones. Finalmente, se realiza una propuesta sobre el papel que la responsabilidad social debe desempeñar en la integración del conjunto de los sistemas de gestión que las organizaciones tienen implantados.
