Gecis Ekonomileri ve Turk Tarim Sektorunde Etkinlik ve Toplam Faktor verimliligi Analizi (1992-2004)

Abstract

Bu calismanin amaci 1992-2004 donemi icin Turkiye ile gecis ekonomileri olarak adlandirilan ulkelerin tarim sektoru performanslarini incelemektir. veri Zarflama Analizi ve Malmquist verimlilik endeksi yontemi kullanilarak ulkelerin tarim sektoru performansi, teknik etkinlik, toplam faktor verimliligi ve bilesenlerindeki degismeler yardimi ile olculmustur. Calismadan elde edilen bulgulara gore 1992-2004 donemi gecis ekonomileri icin ortalama teknik etkinlik degeri 0.655 iken Turkiye’nin teknik etkinlik degeri 0.826’dir. Gecis ekonomilerinin ortalama teknik etkinlikteki degisim degeri 1.016, teknolojik degisim degeri 1.007 ve toplam faktor verimliligindeki degisim degeri 1.023’tur. Turkiye’nin teknik etkinlikteki degisim degeri diger ulkeler ortalamasi ile ayni kalirken teknolojik degisim degeri 0.99 ile ortalamanin gerisine dusmustur. Turkiye’nin toplam faktor verimliligi olcek etkinligindeki 1.016’lik pozitif degisme nedeni ile 1.006 olarak gerceklesmesine ragmen diger ulkeler ortalamasindan geride kaldigi gozlemlenmistir.
