Turkiye’de Kadina Yonelik Aile Ici Siddetin Belirleyenleri: Multinomial Logit Model Yaklasimi

Abstract

Kadina yonelik siddet, gunumuzde uzerinde en cok tartisilan konularin basinda gelmektedir. Kadinlarin en guvenli olmalari gereken yerde, aile icinde, yasadiklari siddet; fiziksel, cinsel, psikolojik ve ekonomik boyutlariyla ele alinmasi ve mucadele edilmesi gereken toplumsal bir sorundur. Bu baglamda çalismada, Turkiye’de kadina yonelik siddeti etkileyen faktorlerin belirlenmesi amaciyla TUIK’in 2008 yili Turkiye’de Kadin ve Aile Arastirmasi veri seti kullanilarak multinomial logit model analizi yapilmistir. Model sonuclari, Turkiye’de kadina yonelik sadece fiziksel ve hem fiziksel hem de cinsel siddet uzerinde; kadinin yasinin, egitiminin, esinin calisiyor olmasinin, esinin egitiminin, esinin alkol kullanmasinin, yasadigi yerin (kir/kent) ve cografi bolgenin onemli bir etliye sahip oldugu, ayrica kadinin calisiyor olmasinin ise anlamli bir etkiye sahip olmadigini ortaya koymustur.
