Abstract

Calisma yasaminda orgutlerin basarisinin ve veriminin yuksek olmasi ancak calisanlarin performansinin artmasiyla mumkun olmaktadir. Calisanlarin performanslarini ilgilendiren unsurlardan birisi de maruz kaldiklari strestir. Stres, kisinin karsilastigi olumsuz duruma karsi verdigi tepki olarak tanimlanmaktadir. Bireyler hangi meslekte olurlarsa olsunlar, fark etmeseler bile stresle karsilasmaktadirlar. Calisanlar acisindan stresin neden oldugu olumsuz sonuclar ise verimsizlik ve is gucu performansinda yasanan dusustur. Is yasamindaki degisim ve artan rekabet, orgutleri daha fazla verimli olmaya zorlamakta, bununla beraber orgutlerin calisanlarindan beklentileri artmaktadir. Bu calisma ile universitelerde gorevli ogretim elemanlarinin karsilastiklari orgutsel stres faktorleri ile performanslari arasindaki iliskiyi saptamak amaciyla 340 ogretim elemanina anket uygulanmistir. Arastirmanin sonuclari ogretim elemanlarinin karsilastiklari orgutsel stresin orta duzeylerde oldugunu ve bunun da performanslarina olumlu etkide bulundugunu gostermektedir.
