Termal Turizmin Gelistirilmesi Kapsaminda Cesme Ilcesi Termal Kaynaklarinin Degerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Turizm hareketlerine katilimin en onemli motiflerinden birisini saglik ya da tedavi olusturmaktadir. Ilk caglardan bu yana doganin saglik verici ozelliklerinden yararlanmak isteyen insanlar, termal kaynaklarin bulundugu yerleri ziyaret ederek, kaybettikleri sagliklarina yeniden kavusmayi amaclamislardir. Gunumuzde termal turizm hareketlerine katilan kisi sayisi ozellikle gelismis ulkelerde hizla artmakta, yaslanan nufus, ucuncu yas ve saglik amacli turizm kapsaminda termal turizme katilmaktadir. Kaynak zenginligi acisindan dunyada ilk 7 ulke arasinda yer alan Turkiye’nin termal kaynaklari, hem debi ve sicakliklari hem de fiziksel ve kimyasal ozellikleri ile Avrupa’daki termal kaynaklardan daha ustun nitelikler tasimasina ragmen bu seyahat motifiyle ulkeye gelen turist sayisi diger ulkelere gore oldukca dusuk kalmaktadir. Ayni durum uygun iklimi, potansiyeli yuksek termal kaynaklari, alternatif ve kolay ulasim olanaklari, Izmir iline yakinligi gibi cekiciliklerine ragmen turizm hareketlerinden yeterince pay alamayan Cesme ilcesi icin de gecerlidir. Bu noktada calismanin amaci Cesme’deki en onemli dogal cekiciliklerden birisini olusturan termal kaynaklarin turistik amacli kullanim olanaklarinin degerlendirilerek, ilcenin turizm hareketlerinin yi0l icine yayilmasi ve ulke genelindeki turizm gelirlerinden daha fazla pay alabilmesi icin onerilerin getirilmesidir.
