Prora?unski deficit i ekonomski rast

Abstract

Visoki udio duga u BDP-u Hrvatske može se smanjiti jedino temeljem dinami?nijeg rasta bruto doma?ega proizvoda. Ekonomski rast ostvarit ?e dodatni porezni prihod kojim se može zaustaviti novo zaduživanje. Me?utim, nijedna zemlja ne može imati brži rast od one stope koja je konzistentna s ravnotežom u teku?em dijelu platne bilance. Sa stajališta ekonomske politike, svaki program koji je usmjeren pove?anju gospodarskog rasta, osim onog koji se bazira na pove?anju izvoza, u kratkom vremenu sudario bi se s barijerom u platnoj bilanci. Ukoliko gospodarstvo Hrvatske želi dose?i ekonomski rast koji ?e osigurati novo zapošljavanje i uravnoteženi prora?un, izvoz mora rasti brže ili valja poduzeti mjere koje ?e smanjiti dohodovnu elasti?nost uvozne potražnje.
