Utjecaj obrazovnog sustava Republike Hrvatske na obrazovnu motivaciju stanovništva

Abstract

Jedan od osnovnih ciljeva doprinosa obrazovanja povecanju konkurentnosti gospodarstva jest poboljšanje obrazovne strukture radnosposobnog stanovništva. Prema Memorandumu o cjeloživotnom ucenju, temelj aktivnog gracanstva i zapošljivosti u Europi 21. stoljeca predstavljaju postavljeni ciljevi koji se odnose na: obvezu potpunog i stalnog pristupa ucenju radi stjecanja i obnavljanja vještina potrebnih za sustavno sudjelovanje u društvima utemeljenim na znanju, osiguranje jednostavnog pristupa kvalitetnim informacijama i savjetima vezanim uz stjecanje obrazovanja tijekom citavog života, veca ulaganja u ljudske resurse i osiguranju mogucnosti cjeloživotnog ucenja. Mecutim, problemi s kojima se suocava postojece školstvo u Republici Hrvatskoj odnose se na nizak obrazovni standard, tradicionalnu organizaciju nastave bez povezivanja znanja koja se stjecu pohacanjem razlicitih predmeta, kao i nedovoljnu obrazovnu motivaciju. Pri tome jednu od najvecih smetnji predstavlja horizontalna i vertikalna (ne)prohodnost programa koja cesto onemogucava polaznicima ostvarenje osobnih obrazovnih ciljeva.
