Javna potrošnja u Republici Hrvatskoj ili na što država troši novacc

Abstract

U radu autori se bave iznimno vanim podrucjem javnih financija koje se odnosi na pitanje javne tj. državne potrošnje. Dugorocno gledano u RH uocljiv je gotovo stalan rast javnih rashoda kako u apsolutnom iznosu, tako i prema njihovim udjelima u BDP-u, uz stalan deficit konsolidirane središnje odnosno opce države, s izuzetkom 1998. godine kad je ostvaren suficit u državnom proracunu zbog uvocenja PDV-a. Posljedice rasta javne potrošnje cesto su mnogobrojne i višeznacnoga karaktera, što sigurno ima utjecaj na ekonomsko stanje i ekonomski rast države. Pretjerana ekspanzija javne potrošnje u svakoj zemlji ima za posljedicu makroekonomsku nestabilnost, usporen rast proizvodnje i BDP-a, zaduivanje te izostanak ekonomskog rasta. Hrvatska u tome,nažalost, nije izuzetak.
