CD-ROM products of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)

Abstract

This article gives an update on the various CD-ROMs made available by WIPO. It covers the ROMARIN CD-ROM of the database of the WIPO international trademark register; IPC:CLASS CD-ROM, covering the fifth edition of the IPC, a new version of which for the sixth IPC edition will appear in 1994; the JOPAL CD-ROM containing bibliographic details of articles published in leading scientific and technical periodicals; IP-LEX CD-ROM containing the texts of and information about international treaties and national laws on intellectual property; and the ESPACE-WORLD, FIRST and ACCESS CD-ROMs produced by the EPO and containing, respectively, the bibliographic data and facsimile images of published PCT International applications, data and facsimile images of the first page of published PCT International applications and data and abstracts of published PCT International applications.
