Abstract

Various surveys are being conducted to rank business schools in India. They give importance to parameters like placements, brand value and intellectual capital. Intellectual capital of a business school is the sum of its human capital, structural capital and customer capital. The structural capital consists of the published scholarly material of its faculty and students. Use of technologies like institutional repositories for capturing the structural component of the intellectual capital and enabling knowledge sharing in Academic Institutions especially in developing countries like India are emerging.
