Abstract

Using data from China's A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2023, this paper empirically examines the relationship among supply chain collaborative governance, logistics efficiency, and the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises (HQDME). The results show that supply chain collaborative governance significantly promotes HQDME; logistics efficiency plays a mediating role in the relationship between supply chain collaborative governance and HQDME; and the impact of supply chain collaborative governance on HQDME exhibits heterogeneity between enterprises with higher versus lower average management age, as well as between enterprises with higher versus lower proportions of independent directors.
