Abstract

Based on provincial panel data from Chinese mainland spanning 2007 to 2023, this study systematically analyzes the dynamic relationships among digital village construction(DRC), inclusive finance development (IFD), and the livelihood resilience of rural households. The study comprehensively examines both the implementation effectiveness and operative mechanisms of DRC. The findings reveal that DRC significantly enhances the livelihood resilience of rural households. Moreover, this positive effect is particularly pronounced in regions with higher levels of rural informatization. Mediation effect tests indicate that inclusive finance development plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between digital village development and the livelihood resilience of rural households. Additionally, the mediating effect of inclusive finance development in this relationship exhibits substantial differences between regions with high and low levels of educational investment.
