Abstract

Utilizing data spanning 2010–2022 from A-share-listed Chinese companies, this study investigates the impact of corporate financialization on the behavior of export activities and examines the role of the Economic Policy Uncertainty Index in moderating the relationship between corporate financialization and corporate exports. Findings indicate that a rise in corporate financialization levels significantly hinders the growth of corporate export businesses, and this negative effect is intensified by economic policy uncertainty.
