Abstract

As cross-platform information propagation increasingly shapes social media dynamics, understanding the influence of psychological feedback and behavioral strategies is critical. We propose a cross-platform P−UAU−B−SIS model to reveal an information diffusion mechanism jointly driven by psychological states and behavioral strategies. The results show that cross-platform propagation is governed by changes in individual psychological states and dynamic behavioral adaptations. They indicate that in single-source environments, individuals reach consensus rapidly. In multi-source, diversified environments, differing opinions coexist longer. The number and diversity of information sources shape cognition, judgment, and group behavior evolution. Numerical simulations and validation using real Weibo data further confirm the critical role of cross-platform interactions in information propagation. By incorporating individual psychological differences and behavioral heterogeneity, the proposed model more accurately captures real-world cross-platform propagation dynamics. These findings provide theoretical insights and practical implications for precise cross-platform information regulation and public opinion governance.
