The commuting graph of the cyclic extension of an abelian group

Abstract

In this article, using the method of local analysis of abelian groups, we classify the commuting graph of the prime cyclic extension of an abelian group completely and obtain certain prominent parameters like independent number, clique number and second clique number of the graphs.
