Aspectos metodológicos y operativos de las encuestas de posenumeración censal: la experiencia brasileña del Censo Demográfico de 2022

Abstract

En este artículo se describe la experiencia brasileña en la planificación, ejecución y divulgación de la encuesta de posenumeración del Censo Demográfico de 2022 del Brasil y se la confronta con las recomendaciones internacionales sobre el tema y las lecciones aprendidas en encuestas anteriores del Instituto Brasileño de Geografía y Estadística (IBGE). Para ello, se examinan la viabilidad, los desafíos y las ventajas de la encuesta de posenumeración censal, abordando aspectos como la planificación, la definición de la muestra y del cuestionario, el inicio de la recopilación, las innovaciones y los distintos usos de los resultados, con miras a contribuir al debate sobre diversos aspectos relacionados con el estudio de la cobertura censal en América Latina.
