Encuentro entre Kaldor y Dosi: una aproximación a la estructura tecnológica de la producción regional

Abstract

En este artículo se propone una conexión teórica entre las ideas de los economistas Nicholas Kaldor y Giovanni Dosi, basada en un análisis de la estructura tecnológica de la producción regional, utilizando la metodología de insumo-producto creada por Wassily Leontief, y se la aplica a la economía de la Amazonía Legal brasileña, concretamente al estado de Pará. A título ilustrativo, se centra en el sector minero, que representa una gran parte de la producción del estado. Para resumir las conclusiones, la aplicación del enfoque Kaldor-Dosi permitió identificar la importancia de la difusión tecnológica intersectorial a escala internacional a través de cadenas globales de valor y sus efectos en la dinámica económica local. Esta aplicación preliminar de la perspectiva Kaldor-Dosi con ayuda de la matriz de insumo-producto muestra que la minería está orientada a la exportación y, por tanto, vinculada a las trayectorias de las tecnologías globales en los sectores para los que produce insumos.
