Abstract

Evalua los cambios estructurales que han fortalecido la soberania de los paises latinoamericanos sobre sus recursos mineros, particularmente en la fase metalurgica. Discute problemas relacionados con el papel del Estado y la empresa publica en el desarrollo minerometalurgico, y desarrolla un esquema para mostrar los intereses divergentes de la empresa transnacional y del sector publico de los paises mineros de la periferia en los principales aspectos de su interaccion y cooperacion, asi como las opciones y modalidades de solucion, poniendose de relieve las posibilidades de entendimiento entre ellos.
