Abstract

Examina algunos ámbitos referentes a la juventud universitaria: la inserción social de la misma dentro del proceso de transformación social que ha experimentado la región, incluyendo el impacto de la crisis en la inserción ocupacional de los universitarios; la capacidad del intelectual para cumplir el papel de intermediario entre los líderes políticos, los tecnoburócratas del Estado y la sociedad civil en general; y los posibles modos de expresión y alianzas de la juventud universitaria frente al desafío que le presenta la crisis actual.
