Deuda interna y ajuste financiero en el Perú

Abstract

Analiza la evolucion financiera de las empresas en el periodo 1980-85 en el Peru. Muestra que si bien la situacion financiera de las empresas productivas se deterioro, estas lograron traspasar a otros sectores parte importante de este deterioro. Cayeron los salarios reales y los precios relativos de los insumos del sector industrial, y por otra parte, las empresas demoraron sus pagos de impuestos con lo cual la morocidad de las carteras de los bancos alcanzaron cifras sin precedentes. Se facilitaron creditos de refinanciacion a las empresas, las cuales lograron resistir la crisis, pero sus mecanismos de sobrevivencia tuvieron un alto costo social y contribuyeron a agravar la crisis global.
